Der Veröffentlichung der ersten MusiCure-CD gingen fünf Jahre reine Forschung und Entwicklung voraus.
Die Musik wird eigens zu therapeutischen Zwecken eingespielt. Ziel ist, dass sich der Hörer entspannt und zugleich abenteuerartige geistige Anregungen erfährt. Während des gesamten Entstehungsprozesses der Musik arbeitete der Komponist eng mit Ärzten und Pflegepersonal zusammen und orientierte sich bei der Produktion an den Rückmeldungen aus Krankenhäusern.
MusiCure wurde in Dänemark, Norwegen, Schweden und den USA an viele Krankenhauspatienten aller Altersgruppen und beiderlei Geschlechts getestet.
